Over the last 25 years, CroppMetcalfe has been heavily involved in Virginia’s Apprenticeship training program. In a symbol of appreciation, Cetrel Coleman, Apprenticeship Representative of the Virginia Department of Labor & Industry recently presented a plaque to Tim Cropp, President of CroppMetcalfe with a Certificate of Recognition in appreciation of the 25 Years of Commitment to the Training and Successful Completion of Apprentices.

The plaque reads, "In appreciation for many years of service as a registered Apprenticeship training sponsor and continued selfless efforts to improve workforce development, economic growth, and prosperity of our community and the Commonwealth of Virginia."


CROPPMETCALFE RECOGNIZED BY BB&T FOR EXCEPTIONAL SAFETY RECORD

2014_BBT_AwardBoomer DeConti of BB&T Insurance recently presented the 2013 Lighthouse Beam Award to Tim Cropp, President and Mitchell Cropp, CEO of CroppMetcalfe. The Lighthouse Beam Occupational Safety Award is based on overall safety performance and implementation of effective safety policies and procedures.

LINCOLN COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY HONORS CROPPMETCALFE WITH THE PRIDE IN PARTNERSHIP AWARD FOR THE THIRD QUARTER OF 2013

"CroppMetcalfe has been a wonderful company to work with through the years. During the past few years alone, CroppMetcalfe has hired over 40 graduates of Lincoln Tech. We have a great working relationship with the entire team," says Ms Henson.

The Pride in Partnership Award celebrates the support and generosity given to our campuses from partners. These partners generously give our campuses in-kind contributions, donations, student scholarships, curriculum expertise, and feedback for career services.

2013-Hire-PowerCroppMetcalfe was featured in the 2nd annual Inc. Hire Power Awards, recognizing the private businesses that have generated the most jobs in the past three years. CroppMetcalfe generated 61 jobs from January 1st, 2012 to June 30th 2013, placing it among the top 11 private business job creators within the Virginia, and first overall in the Environmental Services category in the United States.

2011 ACCA RESIDENTIAL CONTRACTOR OF THE YEAR

The winner was announced at the opening general session of ACCA’s 43rd Annual Conference and Indoor Air Expo, held this week in San Antonio, TX.

The President’s Award, started in 2007, is Carrier’s highest honor for its dealers. This annual award is designed to encourage self-analysis and reward individuals who have excelled in customer relations. Its goal is to support business improvements and show gratitude for their customer loyalty. This award presents the opportunity for recipients to serve as role models, share "best practices" and otherwise offer peer mentoring to help cultivate excellence across the dealer group.
