Warehouse Inventory Agent

 

We're looking for a talented and dynamic Warehouse Inventory Associate to join our fast-paced team. As an integral part of our operations, we'll need you to:

 

  • Monitor warehouse inventory levels and accuracy
  • Purchase inventory to assure the warehouse is stocked with all supplies necessary to support all field departments
  • Track, coordinate and process returning to vendors all equipment, parts and materials that have been purchased and are no longer needed
  • Order any inventory equipment, parts and materials and have parts runner pick them up from vendor and deliver to job site as needed
  • Assist Field Support Manager with identifying and adjusting truck stock and warehouse inventory as needed
  • Assist with maintaining correct season inventory.

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent of combination of education and experience

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in customer relations and dispatching functions
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Scheduler/ Dispatcher

We are seeking experienced Scheduler/ Dispatcher to join our High Volume Call Center team at our Fairfax, Virginia headquarters. Multiple shifts are available. Some shifts do require evening and/or weekend hours.

Job Duties

  • Dispatching service technicians according to the schedule.
  • Scheduling and monitoring of co-workers service schedule
  • Answering incoming service calls and adjusting technician’s schedule as needed
  • Resolving customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to the proper staff and responding to special requirements.
  • Match type of service required with a co-worker’s ability, zone location and duration of call, to maximize productivity, profitability and accuracy.

HVAC Instructor – Night Classes for Apprenticeship Program

Are you a teacher at a trade school looking to work part-time in the private sector?
Are you excited about the opportunity to give back to the industry?
The Instructor is responsible for the training of one or more classes in the Apprenticeship Program. CroppMetcalfe offers a 4-year Apprenticeship Program fully accredited by Virginia.  Whether it is teaching theory in a classroom setting, or instructing hands-on in our two labs, the HVAC Instructor is able to build the Technician of the future.

  1. Successful delivery of course content to diverse groups of students (apprentice-level technicians) using a variety of training methods to encourage active participation and ensure content retention
  2. Monitor, evaluate and document student’s progress through observation, tests and examinations in both theory and practice
  3. Ensure standardization in training processes, tools and curriculum across branches.
  4. Teach and maintain organizational skills to all students in regard to paperwork, and vehicle organization.
  5. Conduct training at all branches, both in classroom and field settings.
  6. Develop and deliver high-quality, job-relevant course content, study aids and examinations.
  7. Develop and train lesson plans, training materials, teaching plans and metrics for evaluation of outcomes.
  8. Develop and implement training and visual job aids as required.
  9. Keep abreast of various training delivery techniques, business processes, products and systems.
  10. Become familiar with the capabilities of each student and participate in identifying training needs.
  11. Create and develop apprenticeship program to attract new hires and train current staff.
  12. Work with manufacturers for training on technology, or new products.
  13. Ensure compliance with Federal, state, municipality regulations and policies.
  14. Maintain positive retention and ensure a quality educational experience.

Requirement:

  • Must have CFC certification Universal. 
  • Must have Active State HVAC Masters License.
  • Must have earned NATE Core and at least one Specialty.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.  
  • Five to ten years of experience in training, development or teaching role, or supervising 
  • Must have experience in developing and administering training programs including but not limited to, classroom, computer-based or on-the-job training.
  • Computer literate including extensive experience with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in developing presentations is a must.
  • Experience in HVAC field is required. 
  • Skilled in typing, filing, calculators, fax, and e-mail.

Accounts Receivable Clerk (Part-Time)

 

CroppMetcalfe is looking for a part-time A/R clerk who is available to work up to 20 hours a week.

You will be responsible for the following duties on a daily basis;

  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • A high volume of data entry and uploading of invoices.
  • Execute payments-process check runs in our system and properly compile and distribute checks and electronic payments.
  • Communicate directly with CroppMetcalfe managers and supervisors by phone or email as needed to clarify information on work-orders and vendor payment discrepancies.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 2 years or more office/ administrative work environment
  • Accounting experience preferred but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suites
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Can-do attitude with a strong attention to details.
  • Dependability with an excellent attendance record
  • Ability to work independently or as a team player
