Will ComfortGuard Work For Me?
Unfortunately, ComfortGuard will not work with every type of heating and cooling system. ComfortGuard will NOT work in the following scenarios:
- Homes without high-speed internet and a wireless router or cable modem
- If you do not have complete control over your heating and cooling (i.e. you are not able to turn on the air conditioning in December)
- If you system utilizes one of the thermostats (controls) pictured below

Carrier Infinity and Bryant Evolution Controls
The words “Infinity or Evolution System”can be found to the right or bottom of the Carrier/Bryant logo at the bottom of the control
Lennox iComfort
The iComfort is a touchscreen thermostat. When on the home screen the word, “LENNOX”can be found in the lower right corner.
Goodman ComfortNet CTK02/03/04
The ComfortNetis a touchscreen thermostat. On the CTK03/04 the word ComfortNet is on the top of the control. The CTK02 has no identifying marks.
Trane Comfortlink II
The Comfortlink II is a touchscreen thermostat. The words “Comfortlink II”can be found at the bottom right corner of the control. The word, “TRANE” can be found at the bottom of the control.
Rheem EcoNet and 500 Series Controls
The EcoNet is a touchscreen thermostat. The word EcoNetis in the left hand corner of the screen. The 500 Series is a touchscreen thermostat. It has no identifying marks.
