What is a CAI?
A Customer Assurance Inspection (CAI) provides a customer the opportunity to get proper maintenance on their system and familiarize themselves with our CroppMetcalfe Preferred Service Policy program without making a full year commitment.
What Does it Include?
The CAI includes an inspection on the heating and cooling units, thermostat, and all accessory items such as the water heater, electronic air cleaner, humidifiers and condensate pumps. If the system is up to industry standards the customer will receive a Three Month Gold Preferred Service Policy.
What Happens After the Inspection?
Once the inspection is complete, the customer will be notified by the technician whether the equipment qualifies for a Three Month Gold Policy. If the equipment is not up to industry standards and needs repairs, the customer may get those repairs completed and receive a 10% discount. Once the repairs are made the customer is then eligible to receive the Gold Policy for three months or they can apply the cost of a CAI toward a one year Bronze Policy.
The technician will then fill out a Service Policy, per the customer’s choice, based on the outcome of the inspection. If the system qualifies for the Three Month Gold Policy, the technician will fill out the Gold Policy with a duration period of three months. At the end of the three months, the Service Agreement Department will contact the customer with the opportunity to renew for a full year.
