CroppMetcalfe is currently seeking HVAC Service Technicians to work throughout Northern Virginia. Candidates must be able to perform heating and cooling maintenance on your own. Candidates must be able to install service and maintain compressors, heat exchangers, coils, accumulators, outdoor units, humidifiers, condensate pumps, electronic air cleaners, etc. with minimal supervision. Candidates must be able to troubleshoot and repair minor HVACR repairs, such as refrigerant leaks, motors, contactors, transformers, thermostats, etc.
Qualifications & Competencies
- CFC Type 2 or Universal Certification required
- NATE Certification a plus
- State License preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all types of customers
- Speaks professionally and clearly with strong presentation skills
Residential HVAC Install Technicians and Helpers (Virginia, Maryland, and DC)
CroppMetcalfe is looking for experienced HVAC Installation Technicians for Virginia, Maryland and DC. Candidates must be able to install and maintain furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, coils, accumulators, outdoor units, humidifiers, condensate pumps and electronic air cleaners with no supervision.
Qualifications & Competencies
- CFC Type 2 or Universal Certification required
- NATE Certification a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all types of customers

Commercial Service Technician
CroppMetcalfe is seeking experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technicians in Virginia, Maryland and DC. Ideal candidates must be able to consistently troubleshoot service & repair all makes/models of commercial HVAC equipment such as Rooftop Units, Split Systems, Boilers, Chillers ect, without supervision. Must be able to perform maintenance inspections and have good mechanical aptitude, and electrical knowledge.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all types of customers
- Strong mechanical and electrical trouble shooting skills
- 5 years of experience
- CFC Universal Certification
- NATE certification or the willingness to obtain these certifications
- Journeyman’s or the willingness to obtain the certification
Commercial Installation Technician
CroppMetcalfe is seeking experienced Commercial HVAC Installation Mechanics in Virginia, Maryland and DC.
Ideal candidates must be able to consistently install all makes/models of commercial HVAC equipment such as Rooftop Units, Split Systems, VRV and VRF Systems, Boilers, Chillers etc., without supervision. Applicant must have good mechanical aptitude, and electrical knowledge. Candidates should be knowledgeable in reading and interpreting blueprints and the have experience performing construction work. Pipe fitting and welding experience is preferred.
Qualifications

- Strong mechanical and construction background.
- 5 years of experience
- CFC Universal Certification
- NATE certification or the willingness to obtain these certifications
- Journeyman’s or the willingness to obtain the certification preferred
- MUST have good driving record
- A driven work ethic with the willingness to learn and grow.
Warehouse Helpers & Parts Runners (Virginia)
CroppMetcalfe is currently seeking Warehouse Helpers & Parts Runners to work throughout Northern Virginia. Candidates will be loading/unloading materials and delivering parts and equipment via company vehicle to worksites. Full time and Summer season positions open.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Candidates must be familiar with the roads in the MD/DC/VA area
- Able to comfortably and safely lift and handle containers weighing up to 100 pounds
- Strong communications skill and ability to understand/respond to supervisor verbal instructions
- Must be reliable, work quickly, and have a positive, team-oriented attitude
